Beyond Religion, there is a whole interesting world out there, considered miraculous by many, but real. One doesn’t have to spend time and money on a religion whose origins are often based upon an adaption of previous myths, promoted with lies, and riddled with fraud and forgery. The real world is stranger than you think. Much of it is stranger than you CAN think. Exploring into that mysterious world is much better and more interesting than blind acceptance of other “miracles” based upon “faith”, with skeptical questioning frowned upon.
A few examples of strange reality:
Believability can be catching, like a virus.
An unbelievable happening can lead you to be open to other beliefs that you normally wouldn’t consider believable. An unbelievable event happened to me in a conference many years ago in Marin County. A minister told us a story that, unbeknownst to his parishioners, he was under heavy sedation at San Rafael General Hospital on a Saturday night.
Later in the next week, a couple from Fairfax told him “That was a great conversation we had last Saturday night”. The minister told the couple that that was impossible because I was under sedation at San Rafael General Hospital.
