Retired highly regarded priest, who for 17 years (1980-1997) served as an advisor to the Pope,  exposes bible forgery and fraud.

Dr. Miceal Ledwith achieved distinction as a catholic theologian who received international recognition for academic and professional  accomplishment.  An esteemed professor of Systemic Theology, president of the University of Maymooth , Ireland (National University of Ireland-Author) and fulfilling a seventeen year appointment as advisor to the Pope on the Holy See’s international  Theological Commission.  Yet at the height of his career,  he walked away to pursue a completely different kind of spiritual life — one of humble, internal initiation and transformation.  He talks about an enormous upheaval after the Second Vatican Council:

“I think most of my contemporaries were doing the same thing that I was and pondering the same thoughts, maybe not as intensely, but they were certainly as aware of those theories as I was. There were many people in positions of authority in the church that were contemplating the inconsistencies, and a lot of them ran afoul of religious authority. This is of course something that had always occurred throughout the history of Christianity.

“I spoke with someone the other day that insisted on the importance of holding on to some permanently valid religious truth. I asked “And where might we hope to find that in the gospels of the New Testament, for example? Let me suggest something.”

Codex Vaticanus -- In Reearch for the Truth

“Go to the Vatican Library today and look at the oldest manuscript that we have of the New Testament, which is known as the Codex Vaticanus’, and was probably one of the bibles commissioned by Constantine. Another one to look at is in the British Library called codex Sinaiticus’ which was discovered in Mount Sinai at St. Catherine’s Monastery.

Look at those two texts, both from the 4TH century, and try to find the famous story of Jesus rescuing the lady who is being stoned for adultery in John’s Gospel Chapter 8. It is a very powerful story, but it is not contained in either of those manuscripts, which means that story was inserted into the text of the New Testament for the first time at least as late as the 4th century if not later. I can give you a hundred other examples.”

About beyondallreligion

Samuel Butler, Author: BEYOND ALL RELIGION Most all religions are based upon a bedrock of lies. Christianity was invented by Emperor Constantine , for political purposes, based upon the myth of Mithra, a Persian savior god born on December 25 , son of a virgin. Mithra performed miracles and was later crucified. Pope Leo X (died 1521) called Christ a “Fable”. Later Pope Paul III expressed similar sentiments. Moses is based on the Sumerian life and legends of Sargon I, King of Akkad, “set in a basket of rushes and “cast into the river”. Egyptians kept exhausting hieroglyphic records. There is a complete absence of any record of Moses leading over 600,000 men, women and children away from Pharaoh’s army. Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, was convicted in a court of Law of being an “impostor”, today a fraud, con man, in 1826. He wrote the Book of Mormon soon after. We know all of these things by simple “intuition”….

  6. Chris says:

And so what? I would say these are the religions stating God, Jesus, or “our Lord” does not approve of Gays and lesbians, or the inferiority of women, or how man should consume the earth and all living things on it, and so on. Fear for the wrath of God is instilled into us as children, this fear can create hate and oppression of those who do not heed the same fears. If these fears were based upon fallacy, it would be liberating and a cycle of peace could begin. A peace that doesn’t require a Church or religious organization to lead it. A peace defined by universal acceptance and a compassion and understanding for each individual’s rights to their personal choices.

The adulterous woman predates the Vaticanus. It is the Vaticanus that is flawed. I suggest reading the Byzantine Textform New Testament. The preface explains the error and its correction from examination of the thousands of Byzantine texts not monopolized by the Vatican.

  8. MEERT Olivier says:

    Vaticanus = Vatis + Cane = the Sorceror/the Magician …

The Vatican has ruled Western Europa and the America’s for many centuries with iron fist through “Holy” Inquisition (torture + mass murder/genocide).

The Vatican can be described as the seat of power of lucifer himself !!!!

A smiling Franciscus I (ex general jesuits) will not change this.

  9. Pippo says:

Soon “eminent” priests will claim that Jesus never existed …The fact that Jesus never existed is the boasting message of anti-Christ …Beware of wolfs in sheep clothes !

  10. Paul says:

What do you expect from an institution known as “The Forgery Mill”?

  11. says:

There are 10 more identical stories of Mithra-Bacchus-Dionysus etc. 10-! which makes it rather obviuios that the message is important to impose on the humans-and those who did it may well be ANNUNAKI-they cleverly invented a mind-prison for every era-to be able to continue exploitation and control.Under Roman empire the new testament with all probabbility ,was construed by roman intellctual politicians (they had such then!) who saw the need for adapting to the times they lived in-all details are identical to 11 other stories through the history.*We will not really know anything till a more developed species arrives in their Vimanas so we can ask their opinion-so we can put the religious wars and the intellectual speculations on HOLD till we know better.*********************

  12. dutchee says:

What about the claytablets of the Sumerian, dated back to long before these religion were made up, the story of the old testament, ‘the godS’ that walked on earth, read the 12th planet of Sitchin and other books, all religions are manmade stories that go back to…….. sorry to say, the gods of another planet and in fact we all are descendants of the mixture between these ‘gods’ and the at that time living humanform/ape

  18. What, the bible is made up fiction? No way!

  19. Yes. Pretty good read, though. Plagues, murder, revenge, and a lot of sex.

  20. it makes me wonder what all else the Vatican is hiding.

The nuttery is strong in this thread.

  22. Buddha crucified?? since when???

  23. There were four Buddhas. Most people are familiar with Siddhartha Buddha, but one of the others was reported as follows: “Sakya Buddha was crucified in a sin-atonement, suffered for three days in hell, and was resurrected.”
Most are familiar with Gautama Siddhartha, who is reported to have born in 540 B.C. according to some sources, in 563 in others, in 624, or 642, or 644 in others. He became enlightened under the Bodhi tree. There were 3 Buddhas before him. They also went to Bodh Gaya and became enlightened there.

  24. Anode' Maitreya says:

The concept of a God destroys the VALUE of the life we are living by placing the sacredness of that life under the possession of the imaginary thing….over there…not here with us where it really is.

  25. IAN WENSOR says:

The prophecy that this will be the last pope will clear the matter up and may coincide with the USA coming clean on extraterrestrials, area 51, ufos and the new world order.

  26. Anode' Maitreya says:

I sure hope so. And let those who cannot stand the truth climb down from their corrupt or ego driven horse….or just go away.

  27. John Taylor says:

There is a reason that Jesus is like so many other deities. They all follow a planting mythology of early agriculture where the god is a personified plant.
Ancient planting deities follow a mythology where seed is not eaten but sacrificed, buried in virgin mother earth then reborn to provide the bread and beer of life, year after year forever. A Calendar deity has one leader and 12 followers (year and months) … these are common features of ancient religion because of the biological connection and story they tell of early agriculture.
